Just ate there for the first time this past weekend and LOVED IT. Wonderful food. Nice vibe. VERY busy. Expect to wait. But they moved people fast though you didn't feel rushed while dining.

[...] Le Cartet is one of the more hip places to dine, though if that’s not quite your style, you will be drawn by the quality of the food. They have recently introduced a sit down breakfast, which quickly gained popularity with locals. And the food market at the front of the restaurant is great for picking up a few items on the go. Have a great time exploring Montreal, just don’t forget to eat while you’re there. [...]

Le Cartet, From Breakfast to Lunch your palette wont disappoint! I was there on Saturday for Brunch and it was so good, and to make things different, my order was served in a cast iron pan. How cool is that!

Le cartet has nice decor, but unfortunately I did not enjoy its food. I had the brunch sucre earlier this month. I liked the crepe with raspberry coulis, but that was the only thing I enjoyed from my plate. I couldn't force myself to finish the dry hardened French toast. I do commend them for trying to offer something different, but $40 + tax & tips for 2 is quite expensive when the taste doesn't match the price.

Well done!! I very much like the new layout - seeing the pictures while reading is much more appealing.

I will have to try it out.
