We like to go to this place as the service is friendly and fast and the food is alright.

The coffee could certainly be improved though I haven’t tried an espresso there. Also the potatoes are disapointing; they are not roasted but just cooked and colored with browning or something, tasteless in the end.

Also the egg plates could feature more fruit.

I know this is a breakfast board, and as such, a review on cupcakes is not all that necessary. However, I do feel that since Chocola is actually a chocolate/specialty cupcake store, and they did receive a somewhat decent review here for their brunch, it can be misleading, causing others to believe their cupcakes are also somewhat decent. And that couldn’t be further from truth. As a cupcake enthusiast who bakes and also travels throughout North America and beyond to sample cupcakes, the cupcakes at Chocola are of the worst I’ve ever eaten. Dry, flavorless, cake with stiff, grainy, artificial-tasting frosting. They are far from moist & flavorful, and are blatantly over-priced. Granted, they are quite nice to look at which makes it even more disappointing when you bite into them and they suck. Don’t bother coming here for cupcakes, its a waste of time & money, and you’ll never recoup either.

The food is quite good and you will get your money’s worth, but make sure to ask the waiter/waitress for separate bills early on or else they will put everyone’s orders on one. It is not quite wheelchair accessible because there is one step up (about six inches tall) to get in. The bathroom sign has a wheelchair sign posted next to it but the entrance to the small hallway leading to the bathrooms had a few small boxes that looked like they could be moved easily. I didn’t actually check to make sure the bathroom is accessible though. A manual wheelchair can navigate the restaurant with some small shuffling of chairs. They do set up a small terasse with about 7 or 8 tables outside during the summer. Overall pretty good. Some waiters/waitresses seem warmer than others but the manager or owner guy was quite nice.

Please leave a list somewhere on your site of all the places that serve breakfast 24/7. Not everyone does, but a lot of people like having breakfast at 4-5 PM when they wake up without having to make it themselves.

I have over-heard previous employees mention that the owners dont declare all profits when u pay cash, so stick to credit/debit. Ever since hearing that, I keep noticing how SMALL the 3$, 6 ounce take-out coffee cup is, how watered-down milkshakes are, and how fast they bring up the price when they think you’re not paying attention. uuuber-cheap owners
